College Decision Time. May 1 is the date by which students must deposit at their college of choice.
Here are some tips to help you make an educated choice:
1. Think about whether the academics are a good fit: the size of the classes, the interaction between student and professor and the academic choices available.
2. Decide whether the out-of-classroom activities are appealing: Greek life, music, athletics, and clubs
3. Be aware of the political climate on campus: do you want a politically charged environment or do you prefer a quieter campus
4. Make sure you can see room for growth, both academically and personally: If a student changes, is there enough choice to allow for growth in new directions?
