Growing up is rarely a linear progression from pre-school to through high school, then college and into adulthood; students regularly encounter obstacles in their path and need help navigating the challenges they face. Parents need help as well.
Our Mental Health series is intended to provide parents and students with insights into the trends in mental health among high school and college students. It also highlights our work with students whose education may have been interrupted or affected by their own challenges or those of someone in their family.
We hope this series provides reassurance that students with all sorts of educational profiles can and do find their way to productive and fulfilling lives, frequently including a college degree. We welcome your thoughts and questions on this and every topic we address on our site. Please find our contact information here and let us know what more you’d like us to address.
